Day 3 of INSANITY!

Hello! It's day 3 and as I have said, I will share this journey on INSANITY! When I worked out yesterday with Plyo Cardio...it was crazy! I was red and sweatty. My daughter as well was curious why all the sweat? She seemed happy that I was excited and happy after the "real wokout". That afternoon, I felt the soreness around my body. I could definitely feel all my muscles pooped from the workout. To help ease the soreness a bit and make my muscles recover...I am drinking the results and recovery formula. I also have been following the meal plan that came along. To be honest, it is really easy to follow and these are the food item I eat any way. No more counting cals for me this way.

Today, I worked out with Power Cardio and Resistance. A little different from yesterday's workout. You also use your body weight for push-ups and working on your shoulders. The travel push-ups were just hard for me...all I could do is push-ups with no travel :P. Hopefully, I will be able to do those by end of the month. I pushed hard and yes, at times had to pause and rest. I am amazed! I am liking the intensity of this. Yes, scared...but ready to train with it.

Sometimes, with all the different workouts I have tried, you just gotta see what works best for you. I think I found something that will create changes. It is in the making! INSANITY!

My Insanity Fit Test!

So, I got my INSANITY a few days ago...read what I needed to do before I worked out on the first workout. I had to do the Fit Test first. So, I plugged in the DVD and it was warm up...doable! Then, I start following the Fit Test. All I can say is OMGolly!!! IT is what it says... INSANE! It is like I ran a mile after the first test. Keep in mind, there are 8 of them. The fit test was less than 30 minutes but, it seemed like I have done an intense 1 hr workout. I sweat like crazy and I mean ALOT!!!! To be honest, I was apprehensive to even start it, but excited to get started. Weird but I had got my fit test done. There are certain days to redo this fit test like on day 15, 36, 50 and 63. Hopefully, as I progress through this workout, I'll be able to increase my numbers in the fit test. Yes, I had to pause...like breath real heavy coz "IT WAS HARD!" I pushed myself to what I could do.

So, here are my results from the fit test day 1:

Switch Kicks- 45

Power Jacks- 57

Power Knees- 100

Power Jumps - 30

Globe Jumps- 11

Suicide Jumps-14

Push-Up Jacks- 15

Low Plank Oblique- 22

I strongly agree that before you start INSANITY, you must have done a couple of intense workouts. It is intense. Just doing the Fit Test was crazy cardio. But, I am here to share my journey on doing INSANITY! Stay tuned...tomorrow will be another INSANE workout.

The Eat Clean Diet

What is this so called eat clean diet??? So many information on these new diet trends on what to eat what not to eat, no carbs, no fruits, no dairy, etc...etc... Oh, not to mention the atkins, south beach, zone...oh my!!!! What to choose? What to do?

If you are like me, I have done almost everything that I read, came across, and heard of. I would be so excited about the new "diet food plan" then, after the said time frame, I would fall off like it never happened! I couldn't find the best diet plan for me. Then, I realized that I needed something to veer me the right path of simply eating right. I read about Tosca reno's Eat Clean Diet and just by skimming through the pages and recipes, it makes sense on what eating clean is. It shows you how to combine foods when preparing meals and what types of foods to choose from compared to those that are full of fats and sugars.

So, with the right calories I need to fuel my body and what kinds of foods to eat, I will embark on this journey to start my eating clean and following my work out program. With this eating clean plan, I want to see if I can take my body to the next level.

I am currently working out with Turbo Jam and Last Minute abs, until I recieve INSANITY Dvds. Here is to clean eating! Stay tuned...

My shakeology- Green berry

Want to replace one of your meals to a much healthier version that is packed with vitamins, minerals and protein...PLUS, it's like drinking ALL your fruits/veggies. Here it is Shakeology...

I just had mine for lunch today. This is how I prepared it...
1/4 c. OJ
3/4 c. water
1 c. ice
1/2 c. frozen blueberries
1 scoop green berry

Blend all together and you get alot of shake. YUM!!!!

My comment on the taste, it is like a fruit shake bec. of the OJ and berries that got in it. Sometimes, I use NF milk. But same portions though...It helps me from eating junk and curbs my appetite till my next meal.
